Admond Lee Kin Lim is an entrepreneur, data scientist, speaker, and writer. As the Co-Founder/CTO of Staq, he is building the #1 business banking API platform for Southeast Asia. Staq is reimagining the technical infrastructure to drive financial inclusion for businesses in Southeast Asia, empowering them to build amazing financial products with more visibility and informed decisions. Admond is passionate about making data science accessible to everyone and has been working as an independent data scientist and consultant for many breakthroughs. He started his career as a data scientist in the online gambling industry, semiconductor field, and teaching world as a data science instructor. Admond’s passion for data science started during his overseas internship at CERN in Switzerland for Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment on particle physics, where he analyzed and simulated petabytes of data via Worldwide LHC Computing Grid. Admond is also a Physics graduate from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Admond is always looking to speak about data science/analytics at corporate workshops, conferences, schools, and meetups. He has spoken at various conferences, including Data Science UA Conference, Data Science & Marketing Summit, and has been featured by various publications, including KDnuggets, Medium, Tech in Asia, and AI Time Journal. Admond is also passionate about sharing his experience and mistakes in data science & startups. Before Staq, Admond was a Founder in Residence (EFSG10) at Entrepreneur First, the leading startup incubator in the world, and a Spark Cohort 1 at Antler, a global early-stage venture capital firm that invests in the defining technology companies of tomorrow. Admond’s tech stack includes Data Scientist, Senior Software Engineer, Research Scientist, AI, Big Data, ML, infra, and Spark. He has 5.69 years of relevant experience.
